From the instant you're greeted on the driveway, this is as far from a run-of-the-mill hotel experience as it's possible to get. (In fact, we have banished the word 'hotel' from our vocabulary.) Glenmorangie House is much more akin to the atmosphere of a traditional country house party, where everyone is on first name terms and service is thoughtful, personal, and timely.We really want you to treat the house as your own, set your own agenda and live to your own timetable. After all, if you can't do it here, away from the real world, where can you do it?Even in as convivial an atmosphere as this one, we all need that ultimate retreat at the end of the day (or the middle of the afternoon). Whether you choose one of the main house's six rooms or the three adjacent cottages, the emphasis is on the warm and comfortable. Each room has its own individual character and is appointed with all the en-suite creature comforts one would expect. There is also one very welcome extra touch too, awaiting you in the room after a hard day in the outdoors: a dram of Glenmorangie with our compliments.
