Checklist (Travel Guidance)
When travelling to Scotland for golf it’s always good to do a checklist. At No Traps Golf Tours we’ll make sure you’re looked after form start to finish and having a little reminder of some of the smaller details will help.
A guide perhaps to dress codes, handicap certificates or travel times can make all the difference and ensure you have no worries mid tour.
This page features downloadable documents aimed at making your golfing trip to Scotland even more hassle free.

My wife and I, along with two other couples, made a trip to England and Scotland in July of 2008. We flew into Manchester, played Royal Lytham, attended the Open Championship, then traveled to St. Andrews for the remainder of our trip, where we played Kingsbarns, St. Andrews New Course, St. Andrews Old Course, and Carnoustie. David Horne served as our guide and driver for the entire trip. It was truly the trip of a lifetime due to the history of where we were, the quality of the golf, and the simply outstanding service and direction provided by David. He took very good care of us in every respect. His recommendations, from places of interest to see, dining recommendations, suggestions on how to play the golf courses we would encounter etc. along with his assistance in obtaining caddies, all were right on target I would like to make a return trip sometime in 2010 or 2011 and I plan to book that trip through David Horne. ![]()
